“The Law of Attraction, Power of Positive Thinking and Intention are all extremely powerful tools to help you attract and manifest your highest potential. However, they are all secondary to intuition. Unless you are walking on the path that your soul knows it must walk on none of these tools will work properly for you. If you’re living a fear based life and believe that your dreams aren’t real, then the Law of Attraction will give you unrealized dreams, the Power of Positive thinking and Intention will turn into hopeless wishing because you’re taking action based on fear. Once you cross over and say “Yes!” to what you soul knows it should be doing, only then will these tools be of any use to you! We are not five sensory beings; we have 6 senses, intuition being the sixth and most important sense. Once you learn to trust and take action only on your own guidance the world will bow at your feet.”

~ Jackson Kiddard, author & polymath ~

meditation_handsOn Wisdom Day #73, I introduced the Wisdom of Intuition. In that post, I shared my thoughts and reflections on the powerful and divinely inspired sixth sense we all have but don’t always use or trust. I also shared some tools to help you better understand, awaken and harness your intuition.

Today I offer Jackson Kiddard’s insightful words of wisdom — which I found through my “friend in my head” Mastin Kipp at TheDailyLove.com — to help distinguish intuition from the law of attraction, positive thinking and intention.

They aren’t just new age buzz words but important aspects of co-creating with Spirit the life you want to live. But they either involve some force external to us (in the case of the law of attraction) or operate at the level of mind-function (positive thinking and intention). Our intuition, on the other hand, exists internally at the cellular level. That’s because we come into this world hardwired spiritually with intuition, our sixth sense beyond five-sensory perception that is always available and whispering to us.

Get still, quiet and present so you can get clear about how and where your intuition is leading you. The greatest power you will ever possess to help you truly know what is best for your soul in every moment isn’t in a book, a class or in what other people tell you is best for you but in the indwelling intuitive power of Spirit already inside of you!

Perhaps your intuition is leading you to share in the comments section. 🙂 I welcome your thoughts, feelings and experiences with your intuitive sense and how intuition is whispering to you!

Be well, intuitive … & WISE!

“In this busy multitasking rush everywhere world, your inner spirit may be your strongest ally. It is connected to a vast reservoir of pure wisdom, love and peace.  You can access and connect with your spirit through your intuition. When listened to, your intuition can be a remarkable tool for juggling all of the demands which greet you each day.”

Signpost in blue sky with cloudsYour intuition — born of your soul’s inner wisdom and divine guidance — is one of the most essential spiritual gifts and capacities you possess. Your intuitive sense is where your “wisdom whispers” are born and how Spirit helps to inform your co-creative decision-making process.

Intuition kicks in, for example, in that moment you first meet someone. It’s that feeling  you get that gives you valuable feedback about whether they mean you harm or good, whether they are tuned in or checked out, and of course, whether you should draw closer or run like hell in the other direction. It’s the moment of spiritual knowing at the cellular level before our brain has a chance to label, sort and instruct.
